Isti ljudi koji su proizveli R1 i R6 osmislili su i koncept ove male
jurilice. Ideja ljepog racing motora sa najjaèim moguèim agregatom,
koji u isto vrijeme i zadovoljava stroge ekoloðke norme zaþivjela je u
modelu R 125. Elektrièno ubrizgavanje goriva i jako visoki okretaji
jednocilindriènog èetverotaktnog motora daju snagu od 15 KS koja je do
sada bila i 50% manja u istoj klasi. Yamaha i s ovim modelom podiþe
granice. Mladi napokon imaju adekvatnu prvu stepenicu u svom pohodu na
R klasu.
